arebyte Studios provide affordable workspaces to over hundred artists and makers working across jewellery, design, fine art, animation, fashion, photography, architecture, ceramics and other tech or creative industries.
In partnership with developers, housing associations, councils and private landlords, arebyte sets up flexible workspaces in disused commercial buildings waiting to be redeveloped and in new developments, with the ability to be operational in a few weeks, benefiting from an extensive network of 5,000 creatives.
Workspaces offered to more commercial start-ups cross-subsidise the studios for fine artists, preserving the affordability of artist studios in London.
Operating as a registered charity, arebyte channels its profits from the studios lettings into its arts programme to deliver a year-round series of art projects, with additional support from public and private partners.

“My experience at arebyte Studios was the best studio experience I had over the many years of being a practising artist. It was so entrepreneurial and forward thinking to find this building in the centre of town and rapidly make it accessible for artists and designers (...) where so many other studio charities are letting go of their buildings and there are no affordable studio spaces for artists left.”
